CBD News Blog – This is the new cafe that has popped up in Hull where you can vape and drink cannabidiol CBD coffee.
Humberdawgs Coffee Headshop is one of the latest additions to Newland Avenue and has been up and running for the last week. It is expected to open again after the lockdown is eased in December.
Owner Darren Swaine, 39, says that he hopes the coffee shop will be a place for people to feel comfortable and relax through vaping and medicinal use of CBD.
CBD has similar properties as marijuana but is from the hemp family and Darren uses it himself to help treat his psoriasis.
“The coffee shop is at the front and the vaper’s lounge is at the back where we have the headshop that sells smoking products,” said Darren.

“The whole shop is American themed and we sell American sweets and crisps as well as desserts.
“The business is a brand new venture that we decided to open during the first lockdown and it has been going well.
“The coffee shop is a place for everyone in the community to come in and feel relaxed, but we are particularly geared towards students.
“Most coffee shops are middle class and up market so we wanted to open a down to earth place, which this is.”
Darren says that many people have already visited the shop and say that the CBD products and vaping have helped with their anxiety and depression caused by lockdown.
