The most creative bakery in all of Tampa is joining a popular ’90’s themed bar in downtown Tampa, so I think we all win. Bake’n Babes rose to fame with their selection of wild and super sweet Freak Shakes, indulgent soft baked brookies (a cookie and brownie hybrid), and plenty of themed treats.

Bake’n Babes went viral when they launched a Lizzo-inspired cookie, and the artist herself wound up visiting to indulge in one. Bake’n Babes was formerly located inside the Hall on Franklin, a food hall in Tampa Heights. During the pandemic, Bake’n Babes set up shop in the Gen X Tavern kitchen to help continue to supply Tampa with their wild sweets.
