Rapinoe-led CBD startup signs a second sports superstar

The second big-name “ambassador” for athlete-focused Portland CBD startup Mendi Co. is both a non-surprise and ironic.

It’s basketball legend Sue Bird, girlfriend of soccer megastar Megan Rapinoe. Megan is the twin sister of Mendi CEO Rachael Rapinoe, a “strategic partner and board advisor” to Mendi and its first sports-world endorser.
